As we continue to try and come to terms with a new world, we turn to what’s important – hope, love, joy and determination. It is a time to hold those dear to us close…if only in our hearts.
It also seems to be a time when people have come to the realization of how important culture and the arts are to our identity and well-being. How tenuous things are for most in the art community as everything remains shut down, closed or cancelled.
I am lucky to be part of a supportive art community and enjoy such a wonderful clientele that continues to support my work, thank you.
It is a delight and a honour to have been nominated for Established Artist of the year 2020.
Thank you to the individual that nominated me and for your generous and kind words.
The live Gala will be on the Orangeville Council You Tube – https://www.youtube.com/c/OrangevilleCouncil.
THE MASTERS – THRU MY EYES
I am continuing on with The Masters series… they have proven to be very popular and more of the characters are being requested! It has been fun.
The newest “Quadruplets” are some of Modigliani’s redheads. (ya gotta know us redheads stick together!)
Ginger (with a tatoo)
Waiting In A Yellow Sweater
An old fashion style frame to play off the “master’s portrait”.
It looks terrific!!
And love seeing it through the stain glass door.
Thank you for sharing!
Here is Yalda with her new ‘friend’
Lovely meeting you and your family!
