Thinking of you.

Wanted to stop by and see how you are?

I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you.

If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know.

UPDATES

The following shows I was scheduled to be in, have been cancelled:
Pelham Art Show, Pelham, Niagara
Riverdale Art Walk in Toronto
North of 89 Studio Tour, Headwaters Area

I am uncertain as to whether Buckhorn Arts Festival will run in mid August.

This doesn’t just impact the Artists. But several of these shows use their sale commissions to support their local community places and events.

This seems to be a time where we are reinventing ourselves.  I am sure that they will come up with other venues and revenue streams to help the communities!

In the meantime…

#artistsupportpledge
I am posting some specific works on Instagram at a reduced price to help out the #artistsupportpledge.

Here’s how it works-
None of the works showcased can be over $200. When you sell $1,000 worth of works, you pledge to buy another artists work at $200.

The hope is to raise funds for everyone. There is very little financial support available formally at this time.

Fall Show at the Studio

I am hopeful!

I have  been struggling with putting paint to canvas when this isolation started. So I worked on smaller paper pieces.

Portraits started to emerge. I find myself with 10 ‘portraits’ in the series so far.

I guess I see them as a diary of what we are going through.

I am finally working on a large canvas, with two tempestuous characters emerging.

Here is a taste of the paper works.
