I have been working with scenes from Mother Nature, and local buildings, busy street scenes “en plein air”, as the French say! It is an opportunity for me to immerse myself in the grandness of light and the magnificence of the landscape. Then, back to the studio to translate light, shade, colour value, and landscape into my language of abstract.
